Student Requirements, Deposits & Payments



A $1,000 deposit is required. (Sarasota, Australia and New Zealand submit deposits locally; contact city coordinator) After you submit the on line application make sure your parents get the forwarded link!

Generous scholarship and financial aid are available for students only. Inquire of your City Representative, school, Jewish Federation and synagogue, if you need financial aid. See Cities Tab (above) for contacts in your area. Otherwise email us for further assistance.


Here is a checklist to accomplish now and submit to your city representative to get an interview date:


  • $1,000 Deposit – Speak with your city representative if there is a financial challenge.

  • Two -  2x2 inch Passport quality photos – Available at CVS, Walgreens and Walmart. (Get photos taken now!) (required for ID tags and extra in case of loss of passport) Write your name on the back of each photo. Send 2 passport photos by U.S. Mail or Scanned and attached to email.

  • Copy of the Inside Picture Page of your Passport *   *Apply now if the expiration date is before Nov 1, 2017.

  • For those who are applying for, or renewing, their passports: PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR NEW PASSPORT IN THE FORM OF A RECEIPT IS REQUIRED

  • March of the Living Medical Form filled out by your doctor: Medical Form». (This is the only form we accept)

  • Copy of Your Family Medical Insurance Card (front and back)

  • Students Only: Copy of Your Immunization Record Sheet from Your School
